Taskbar Thumbnail modifier

When you minimize any window in window 7 and you rollover the minimized icon you see a thumbnail view of that program or window. Ever tried to change the size of thumbnail preview?
Today i post this simple trick to change the size of the minimize thumbnail preview.


1: Launch the Run dialog box by using Windows + R/Click on start & type  or execute the command regedit to pull up Registry Editor.

2: Now go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Explorer -> Taskband.

3: On the right side of the editor, right-click on the Taskband folder and>> create a New DWORD (32-bit) Value and name it>> “MinThumbSizePx”

4: Now, right click on this DWORD and choose to Modify its value.


5: Select the Decimal  radio button key in a value of your choice to determine the size of thumbnails.

I set it to 650 in my pc and i think it is the best thumbnail size. You can change the size according to your screen size and your mind.

But before it is activated you will need to log off and log in again.
